this shoe is great -
ran so far 150 miles in these in the past 3 weeks and i must say that my feet feel awsome and they are very light which is a total plus.

I wanted to add a review for this shoe as a runner who is a little bigger than other reviewers. At 6'3" 175lbs this shoe still provides plenty of cushioning and support for tempo runs and races. I have raced distances up to a half marathon in it and it is an excellent shoe.

Like some said. these shoes dont need breaking in. lightest trainer ive ever put on but not to light. very cushy. I normally wear 9.5 but got these in 10.5 good shoes though

still does not match the feel of the "old" ds trainer-hard outer sole on heel makes this a stiff and noisy addition for asic. they cant leave well enough alone. try the saucony tangent.

The shoe fits like none I have tried before. I'm 6' 155Lb so I don't necessarily require a lot of cushion. The feature I like best about this shoe is the lacing style. This shoe really hugs my foot instead of how most shoes will constrict. I'd recommend buying this shoe if you do some road races.....

This is a vast improvement upon the ds-trainer 12. Where the 12's were hard and somewhat clunky the 13's are smooth with just the right amount of cushioning. Feels like the new lacing system makes for a snugger fit which I appreciate since I have narrower feet. Great shoe for tempo or all around ...

This shoe has a very secure fit and locks the heel down well if you use the extra eyelet. It also has smoother transitions, and better cushioning than the DS 12 or any other asics shoe I've tried. I ran a great tempo in them strait out of the box.

Great update of a legendary shoe. The new so-lyte isn't as stiff and clunky as the previous model and the shoe provides a smooth transition through the foot strike.
Excellent shoe if you're looking for a light and fast trainer with the stability for longer runs as well.

Like any DS Trainer, this is a great shoe. But BEWARE...order a full size larger. I have been a DS wearer since version 6 and have always ordered 1/2 size up. version 13 needs a full 1 size.
